Dear Dee Dee Warren

In 2006-2007 I left the Full Preterist movement for good. Shortly after that, the leading opponent of "hyperpreterism", Dee Dee Warren approached me to join her in a "ministry" against "hyperpreterism".  With some reluctance, I eventually accepted. For several years and with her full support, I wrote detailed articles interacting, by name with the behavior and teaching of leading "hyperpreterists".

Perhaps the main leader of the "hyperpreterists" at the time was a man named Sam Frost. Frost is known for his arrogance, elitism and his pandering. It eventually came to light that Frost was being allowed to help develop student material for a supposed Christian seminary. I sent an email to the seminary requesting verification; though I never used Frost's name specifically in the email. Next thing I know, the "president" of the seminary had released my email to Frost and per Frost gave Frost full authorization to answer for the seminary. I was shocked. In times past, Dee Dee Warren also would have been shocked and outraged.  But something changed. Talbot offered Dee Dee Warren a free tuition to his seminary. He called her on the phone and flattered her (Rom 16:17-18). At first, (before I could see the entire picture) Dee Dee convinced me we should give Talbot a chance; that there had been some sort of misunderstanding. I began conversing with Talbot on the phone. During at least one of those phone conversations Talbot joked how Frost called him up, perhaps drunk (per Talbot) rambling on about how Frost wanted to sue Dee Dee Warren. I thought perhaps Talbot was beginning to see the real Sam Frost -- a self-serving man with a huge ego.

I worked with Talbot some more. He eventually too offered me a free tuition. I was hesitant to accept it because I have a policy of being as free as possible from conflicts of interests so that I may remain as objective as possible. Talbot told me at the time he would have me forgo the eschatology portion of the course since he thought I had proven to already know this subject.

If something happens to me...

I just wanted to let everyone know that if something happens to me or my family, they should first suspect Jason L. Bradfield, the P.R. manager for Sam Frost of RCM (Reign of Christ website).  Bradfield has truly been stalking me, even coming onto the Christian Forum, CARM where he was promptly banned by the moderators after he not only blatantly broke multiple rules, but even said he "wished they'd ban him".

Shortly after this, Bradfield started emailing me, even from a fake account called roderickthecoward@yahoo.com with my name as the sender, as if he is Roderick Edwards.  Bradfield obviously has a history of unethical behavior, whether it is blatantly breaking/disrespecting the rules of a community or making it look like someone said something they clearly didn't or using other people's names as a sender in an email.

In these hostile and hate filled emails Bradfield sent, he called me a "little bitch" several times among other names.  He then called my home, while I was at work.  Fortunately I have him recorded and will record him if he ever calls again.  My wife listened to the message and was frightened and called me at work.  This is not the first time Bradfield's group has called my house frightening my family.  Indeed, another hyperpreterist had at one time threatened to harm my family if I didn't shut up.  I reported that individual to the FBI.

Now, Bradfield is threatening me.  I don't know what his threat entails but he said: "You ain't getting away that easy. It has just begun. Now keeping talking you little bitch."  He said this after I asked him to:

• stop emailing me
• stop sending me Google+ invites
• stop coming onto forums where I am
• stop threatening me
• stop calling my house
• stop assuming you know what goes on at my house

Bradfield is upset partly because he says, unpreterist.blogspot.com is "dedicated to talking about him" and his cronies.  Actually, NO it is dedicated to UNDOING over 15 years of promotion of hyperpreterism.  The FACT is that people like Sam Frost, Gary DeMar, Kenneth Talbot, Dee Dee Warren and yes even Bradfield have been heavily involved in purposely or unwittingly promoting various forms of hyperpreterism.

Dee Dee Warren and the Wiccan

So now Dee Dee Warren is inviting people to go interact with a Wiccan (she just calls him a "pagan", because she is either hiding his real beliefs or she doesn't know).

Dee Dee's latest blog entry, full of her drama as usual, but past that invite people to come to her TheologyWeb website and interact with a "pagan" -- actually, the guy is a Wiccan.  Check it out:

Warren acts like she is the great protector of people from hyperpreterism, but here she is exposing people to a Wiccan.  These folks are bad news.

Sam Frost Gets A New Leash

Supposed ex-hyperpreterist Sam Frost, known for his pandering and his "dancing bear" routines where he does whatever his handlers say; be it Jason Bradfield (who Sam would have no Internet voice without), or Ken Talbot, or Virgil Vaduva, or now Dee Dee Warren (not her real name btw).  On July 17, 2012; Warren more or less tried to leash Frost by telling him to no longer interact with his former hyperpreterists who bring FACTUAL comments against Frost.  Warren said:

"Sam there is nothing of value there, I no longer read it. That is another reason I am reposting some of the back catalog, to give readers something more useful than the pretcosmos nonsense.

You don’t have to defend yourself against them, nothing will ever be enough. I think it is more than high time to remember the second part of the proverbs, do not answer a fool according to his folly.

How is analyzing the words of hyperpreterist Sam Frost "nonsense"? Shouldn't Frost have to interact with his 15 years of hyperpreterist promotion? Shouldn't he have to do some work to undo all the damage he has done or is Warren telling him to stay on his leash like a good little pet?  I mean, Warren apparently thinks she is the more balance, as she "ahem" only responds on the "rare occasion there is something worth responding to".  Frost apparently needs to have Warren's ability and insight.  Eventually the  pet will obey the master and follow her lead.  I always like how almost all of Dee Dee's posts always come back to her.  This one about how she behaves and how her friends do and how her email inbox is or isn't. Mee-Mee Warren strikes again.

After you watch the video, tell me if this is not the sheer example of a person in love with themselves -- classic narcissist.

Dee Dee Warren Attacks James White

Dee Dee Warren, owner of the blog PreteristBlog who has promoted hyperpreterist compromiser Kenneth Talbot is now attacking James White.  White has been consistent in opposing hyperpreterism, unlike Talbot who actually was using a hyperpret to help develop student materials for his supposed "Christian" seminary.  Further, Talbot has knowingly enrolled hyperpret leader Larry Siegle into a "minister" program in Whitefiled Theological Seminary (Talbot's seminary).  To whom will Siegle minister once he obtains his Talbot validated degree???

On the issue of Talbot knowingly enrolling a hyperpret into his seminary Warren said:

"I don’t believe orthodox institutions should knowingly allow those who deny an essential of the faith into their midst...Dr. Talbot knows I do not agree at all with orthodox schools allowing blatantly heretical students, but that is not the area of responsibility that God has given me. I am just noting my total disagreement for the public record, and will speak with Dr. Talbot in more detail if he wants to know more." -- source

Why does Warren want to critique Dr. James White but will not publicly address her mentor on such an important issue?  Why does she claim "that is not the area of responsibility that God has given" her but thinks it is perfectly fine for her to poke her hypocritical nose into White's business?  Who does this woman think she is?

Dee Dee Warren: The Paid Off Mercenary

Dee Dee Warren, also now known (by her own outing of it), her real name Caryn Dos Santos WAS the administrator of the supposedly anti-hyperpreterist website; PreteristBlog.  In about 2009, Warren drastically changed the methodology she was using to combat hyperpreterism.  Previously, she was using what might be called The Mathison-Wilson-Gentry Method (see here).  But then Warren was paid off by Clarkian, Kenneth Talbot by way of him giving her a free tuition for defending him against his critics. (see here).

Besides Dee Dee talking about how she thinks her dead pets will be in heaven with her, Warren follows the lead of her ideological heroes.  For example: Zech 7:11 - But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear.

Dee Dee has an almost childish way about her where she'll claim she isn't listening to a thing you are saying, all the while she is insulting you.  For example, recently Warren claimed I was a mercenary because I won't SHUT UP and support Talbot.  But let's look up the word mercenary shall we?

1. working or acting merely for money or other reward; venal.
2. hired to serve in a foreign army, guerrilla organization, etc.
3. a professional soldier hired to serve in a foreign army.
4. any hireling.

Hmmm, well since Dee Dee is the one who accepted a REWARD for stabbing people in the back, for throwing them under the bus and for changing her methodology to the elitist Clarkian method, I say SHE better fits the role of mercenary.  I'm not working for anyone.  I didn't accept any reward.  I didn't change my methodology to fit in.  I'm certainly not a hireling.  But Dee Dee accepted a free tuition.

This is the problem with Liberals, be it in politics or theology; they go around accusing people of the things they themselves ACTUALLY do.

Whether Dee Dee sees this or not who knows but she won't ever repent of the lies she tells.  She has stopped up her ears and made her heart diamond-hard.

The Failed Clarkian Rubric and Hyperpreterism

As readers may be aware, at one time I was part of a website called PreteristBlog.  PreteristBlog was the premiere site for the effort against Hyperpreterism.  The site owner, Dee Dee Warren has collected an impressive amount of material.  From its founding until about 2009, PreteristBlog used what we might call the Mathison-Wilson-Gentry method or rubric in combating hyperpreterism (see here). This method started with what Doug Wilson called the Authority argument.  That is, hyperpreterism MUST claim God did not maintain any authority over how the Church at large has represented God's plan.  That somehow, we have been in gross eschatological error for 2,000 years.  Further, Kenneth Gentry has said "We are opening our critique [of hyperpreterism] with the historic argument, that is, the argument from the historic creeds of the Church. We do this in order to establish the significance of the debate: We are defending the historic, corporate, public, universal, systematic Christian faith." (Ken Gentry WSTTB pg 2)  This is not to say we never bring the Bible into it, but BEFORE we even get to the Bible and the proof-texts that hyperpreterists use, we MUST FIRST deal with their overarching premise.  In the same way, when a person wants us to get into discussing which "green laws" we should pass, we MUST FIRST discuss the validity of the premise of "man-made global warming".

Hyperpret Bryan Lewis Explains Why "Realized Preterism" Won't Work

As readers may be aware, there has been a long time contention that Dr. Kenneth Talbot of Whitefield Theological Seminary has been attempting to insert his own "Reformed" brand of "Preterism" into the movement.  With a movement that already has so many  labels for different kinds of "preterism" -- "Partial-Preterism, Orthodox Preterism, Full Preterism, Hyper-Preterism" -- Talbot's new brand seemed likely to be a welcomed addition to the smorgasbord.  Talbot called his brand,  "Realized Preterism".  Although, official and public details about what his brand of preterism entailed has yet to be released, some Full/Hyper-Preterists received it as merely a stepping stone to eventual Full/Hyper-Preterism.

Mike Bennet, a Hyper-Preterist social-site admin and friend of Sam Frost once said about Realized Preterism:

"Here is what I see happening as a general path to FULL PRETERISM.
Arminian => Dispy => Reformed => Ammilenial => Partial Preterist => Preterist Idealist => Realized Preterist (soon to complete the path) => Full Preterist"  -- source

The Wilson-Gentry Method To Combating Hyperpreterism

If you are new to this discussion, you will no doubt have seen all the aggressive words and tension going on. First, as Christians we should not immediately run from this or judge it as "unchristian". After all, there IS a time to oppose wrong doctrine -- and forcibly so. (examples from Scripture: Deut 13, Rom 16:17-18, Eph 5:11, Jude 1:3).

Hyperpreterism is unlike ANY KIND of expression of Christianity that has EVER existed. Hyperpreterism is something OTHER-THAN-CHRISTIAN. On this point, all Christians are AGREED!

'Orthodox Preterism' Goes Postmodern

In all our years within the Hyperpreterist movement and fighting against Hyperpret Virgil Vaduva's attempt to marry the Postmodernist/Emergent movement with 'Full Preterism', something typical Vaduva and his cronies would say is; "IT'S ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIP". They didn't care if a person's doctrine was fatally flawed or if someone was a melodramatic egotist, or even an habitual liar. To Vaduva and crew, it was all about relationship.

But now it has come full circle. Dee Dee Warren of the supposedly "anti-hyperpreterist" website, PRETERISTBLOG has recently joined the chorus of compromise all for the sake of "relationship".

After some trying personal matters, Dee Dee has been seeking funding for her websites. It appears some hyperpreterists decided to help her out. Yes, yes to show how "loving" they are no doubt.

"I was very pleasantly surprised that some hyperpreterists assisted me. Despite theological differences, I do believe that we can be friends and bear one another’s burdens...More and more for me, this work has been about relationships." -- source

See, Dee Dee needs Hyperpreterists, there is a symbiotic relationship there. It isn't really about defeating a horrid doctrine, but instead it is about hyperpreterists being her "friends" and "bearing one another's burdens". After all, it appears Hyperpreterism is being downgraded from an anti-gospel cult to now merely a group with "theological differences".

If anyone still thinks PreteristBlog is the breaker against Hyperpreterism's encroachment into Orthodoxy, think again. Due to the events over the last two years, PreteristBlog is just a few compromises away from being a "Rodney King" example of "can't we all get along".

The 'Roderick Edwards Argument' Takes Down Hyperpreterists?

Whenever someone leaves the hyperpreterist movement, one of the first things that happens is hyperpreterists come out of the woodwork DEMANDING that the former-hyperpreterist give their "new view" on eschatology.  First of all, the whole thought process exposes what is wrong with hyperpreterism in the first place; it is a radical individualistic interpretation of the Bible.  Hyperpreterism, much like liberal politics thinks that the things they do, others do or should do also.  In this case, since hyperpreterists are prone to putting forth "their view", their personal view on eschatology they also want to hear "your view".

See, it becomes a matter of chest-thumping one-upmanship with hyperpreterists.  They claim they are more "consistent" or more "logical", or more "exegetical" -- no matter what "view" anyone puts forth.  We have seen this with hyperpreterists like Mike Sullivan.  It is pointless to engage them since they promise to ignore what you are saying before you even start.

It is not about presenting a personal "view" -- rather let us be about determining the Christian view on any topic instead of being so eager to put forth our own personal "view".  After all, we DO believe there is a UNITED Christian view on any given topic don't we???  Or are we going to give the hyperpreterists their way in the doors of our hearts and minds by wrongly agreeing with them that Christianity has been in doctrinal chaos for the last 2000 years???

This brings us to the title of this article.  In a discussion with hyperpreterist leader Sam Frost, excoriating Frost for trying to re-image if not leave the hyperpreterist movement altogether; Frost's fellow hyperpreterist Jordan Grant had this to say:
