Treating Heretics Like Brothers?

Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
Romans 16:17
Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
1 Corinthians 5:9-11
I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.
Yet, despite all of this, some are now telling us to “keep company with” and treat hyperpreterists as if they are “brothers”.  Hmmmm…

In wars the warriors often fight and win the battles and then at the end a diplomat (who was never in the fight) comes on the scene and negotiates a “peace” that ends up negating the victory.  Negotiators by very defintion are compromisers.
If this is the direction things are going to go, welcome another entrenched heresy to the scene.  It is Whitefield’s compromise to Wesley all over again…but even worse.  Oh the irony.  Where are the Augustus Toplady’s???
If “diplomats” are going to validate heretics in their heresy then they are not only no better than the heretics, but in actuality, they are worse.  They imply the heretic has the high ground.  They coddle and comfort evil (Is 5:20-25)
As many have been privately my witness, I was already about to leave the fight against hyperpreterism.  I think there is enough material now whereas 15-25 years ago, it was easy for a person to get duped.  But now, any person who does a basic amount of research will find lots of material documenting the formation of this heresy and its premises and conclusions.  If “diplomats” want to play paddy-cake with heretics, so be it — I won’t be a part of it.
May God be glorified and all arrogance and self-serving of men nullified
